To eliminate the slim chance that this is cause the problems, please turn off / disconnect "DIRECTV" before starting UMS and try to connect the PS3. That said, I don't think this is causing the communication problem with the PS3, although I can't be 100% sure. I've made a fix for that, so that when a renderer breaks the standard UMS should handle it better in the next version. UMS doesn't handle that well, which leads to an error.
